English Cobalt Blue artfully blends several themes that are attractive to viewers at once, be it (Indian) forced marriages, the lives of sexual minorities in a conservative society, the search for love (and oneself), or artistic (and personal) growth. Alongside this, the film incorporates several compelling motifs, the most prominent of which are Pablo Neruda's turtle and that cool yet passionately searing cobalt blue. Like other users, I must praise the unmistakable soundtrack. On the one hand, Cobalt Blue is full of vibrant colors, while on the other, it is inherently sad and gloomy. But every experience is a good experience, and even a bad one can yield something great. As a result, the film ranges between three and four stars for me, but since it suited me as a whole, I'll give it a boost. ()
