In this distinctly lowbrow entry in the Lone Wolf and Cub series, Itto Ogami is hired by the Owari clan to assassinate a tattooed woman who is killing her enemies and cutting off their topknots. Meanwhile, Daigoro is separated from his father when he follows a pair of traveling street performers outside of town. (Criterion)

In this episode, there are some absolutely incredible scenes, I mean fight scenes, which are beautifully brought to a brutal end. This is truly a feast for the eyes of an action movie fan. The Japanese show that they were not afraid and were able to shoot bloody movies already at that time, which also have a good story.
