It is indeed a continuation of the previous film, with the main focus being on everything bad being preserved. Deth is already a worn-out character and his "I'm too old for this" is more tiresome than funny. But that may also be because you hear that line all the time today. I'm sorry, but this is already a decline of the series and I'm afraid of the sixth film that is still ahead of me.
