In the 16th Century the Cossack warriors help the Polish army in return for control of their homeland. However, when the Turks are defeated the Poles renege and drive the Cossacks back into the hills. Cossack warrior Taras Bulba (Yul Brynner) raises his son Andrei (Tony Curtis) to seek revenge on the Poles.
