English This film obviously knows how to exploit emotions from naive souls, but it undermines itself. Whether it's the desperately unsympathetic main character through whom I only found a way due to her personal tragedy, or the disgusting way of singing, where every "hmm-mm-mm" tearing the ears, or the fact that the teachers at the school, which pretends to be the best music school in the country, approvingly nod their heads to stupid r'n'b beats. But even though I felt absolutely terrible during the final back-slapping, where everyone starts singing along, thanks to occasional bursts of emotion or a solid soundtrack full of teenage rock, I will give it two stars. English I like Hilary Duff. I was one of the few who even wanted to be her… Raise Your Voice was one of my favorites. When I watch the movie now, it's not the same, but I still like the music. It naively charges you up and makes you dream. ()
