Darkness Falls has a decent atmosphere and gets off to a pleasantly chilling start. But as soon as the film needs some screenwriting ideas and innovation, we find ourselves back in the realm of contemporary trashy would-be horror movies. Not to mention the lack of logic and plausibility in the ridiculous climax.
