In 1993, a series of violent armed robberies occurred on the K3/4 international train connecting Beijing and Moscow, the only land communication line between China and Europe back then. The Chinese police engaged in a cross-border investigation and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice. Disguised as businessmen and undaunted by danger, a special operations team led by the Railway Police set off for this investigation in the unfamiliar territory of Moscow, with only one goal in mind: to arrest the criminals and successfully extradite them back to China.
The film is based on a real historical event. (CMC Pictures Holdings)

English It wasn't bad, but I expected more. Herman Yau can occasionally surprise, and the final action blast scratches a 4-star rating, but it doesn't quite achieve it. The story follows a group of detectives investigating a gang that robs trains. Chinese star Andy Lau is good, visually it's fine, there's not much action, more like chases (don't expect any fights), but the final shootout in the warehouse had a decent epic scale, it really surprised me, but the rest didn't excite me as much. It's not boring, but nothing that I would remember. 6/10. ()
