This raw film of documentary style investigates the possibilities of a woman's independence. Juli, a corresponding student of agricultural engineering, goes to work to the Ózd brick-factory. Bodnár, the works manager, falls in love with her almost at first sight and proposes to her. Juli is reluctant at first, but then goes for an open relationship, although she conceals the fact that she has a child. Bodnár wants to possess her, just like the house he is building. That is why Juli does not want to marry him, although she is expecting his child now. Finally they break up when Bognár refuses to acknowledge Juli's five-year-old son in front of his family. Despite all János's protests Juli gives birth to her second child and chooses independence. (official distributor synopsis)
