Price for Peace

Solid war documentary, though in my opinion, it has an excessive amount of sentimentality towards the girl. But I do not want to diminish the impressive and powerful way it describes significant events of the last century with authentic footage preserved in incredibly clear quality, and some of it will truly take your breath away. The standard element – the narration of war veterans – is impressive and informative. Spielberg's touch is evident, but it does not disrupt the flow. (04/02/2006)
