Otilia is a woman with a face that is not graceful, but her body attracts in an irresistible way the glances of every man in town. Her parents try to hide her curves by dressing her with loose clothes and are always vigilant over her. When adolescent, the girl manifests the urgent demand of a full sexual satisfaction. Otilia lives this satisfaction with anguish and great despair, and her frustration makes her put an ultimatum to her parents: either they marry her soon or she runs away to the city to liberate her sexual libido anyway she can. Otilia's father decides to marry his daughter to Isidro Peña, a butcher with a scoundrel's reputation, greedy, drunk, with a good last name but a notorious mediocrity. Otilia's protests are worth nothing. Not long after the wedding, he infects her with a venereal disease that he caught in a whorehouse. The consequence is fatal: Otilia becomes sterile. The girl, charged with frustration and resentment, turns her genuine wish of sexual plenitude into an instrument of revenge. (Alameda Films)
