It's a fairly ordinary film about a girl who pursues something she enjoys, follows her dream, and eventually achieves something great despite suffering a significant loss in her life. But the fact that there are actors like Christopher Plummer, who is wonderfully funny, and Anthony Hopkins, who is just plain good, makes it bearable.
