I enjoy weird films, but this is like a pseudo-Lynchian travesty that screams it wants to match Blue Velvet, but in reality, has nothing of its incredible atmosphere and urgency. Kyle is weird, John Hurt is a little unnecessary, and the main couple couldn't pull me in. Plus, it's trying to be unnecessarily funny.
