Satanico Pandemonium

"Satanico Pandemonium: La Sexorcista" is not really an extreme film for me, but rather a surrealist and nude contemplation of what happens when we suppress something within ourselves. Perhaps it was the higher expectations that I had which slightly spoiled the experience for me, but I didn't really feel that desire, only suggestively in some scenes. Good, but not good enough in my opinion, considering the subject matter. (06/02/2016)

It would be a pleasantly meditative compilation of heretical settings if the set design didn't look like something out of a puppet show. The sharp multiple shadows on the styrofoam rocks and the corner rooms shot from only one angle unfortunately don't make the long, slow scenes feel increasingly funny. The funny thing is that when Cecilia Pezet takes off the nun's headdress, she looks exactly like the protagonist of the anime Paprika. (04/10/2021)
