This rhapsodic, grotesque and realistic film describes one and a half days of T. Gyula. He is a clumsy party cadre in Pándok and has 36 hours to take a final exam in Marxism in Budapest, to organise a symphonic orchestra, to find the young and talented conductor, who once lived in Pándok, for the Saturday opening ceremony of the cultural centre and to watch the fans' behaviour at the Fradi-Pándok soccer-match. Things are taken care of, although there are plenty of problems T. Gyula has to face, because everybody wants to help. Still, when the crazy 36 hours are over, goodwill triumphs and T. can go to sleep on the sounds of Eroica. (official distributor synopsis)
