It's beautifully slow and so long... and so nationalistic that being Bulgarian would make me feel better and happier in the world. The singing of the landscape, the customs of the common people... and the wisdom of the barbarians that is able to withstand Western trends. Then just need to also resist Byzantium. In a little while, in just about two hundred years, Cyril and Methodius will be sent to the Czech as well. The first episode is a warm-up, the second focuses on plot, and the third is over an hour of battles. I saw the original version with a tear in my eye because such state-forming films are apparently cultivated everywhere in the world. (28/12/2012)
