Jackie Chan plays Sergeant Dragon Ma, a turn-of-the-century coastguard, hot on the trail of a ruthless band of cut-throat pirates, intent on spreading a trail of blood and mayhem across the South China Seas. Project A features some of the most dangerous stunts of Jackie's career, including homages to Buster Keaton's Steamboat Bill, Jr. and Harold Lloyd's Safety Last!. (Eureka Entertainment)

Awesome. Jackie and his crew go after pirates in the early 19th century. Great fights, fantastic choreography and Chaplin-esque humour. The good old times. ()
For me, it's a pretty average Jackie Chan film. While a lot is going on with plenty of great stunt work, as a comedy, it left me quite bored. I do enjoy Jackie's approach to action films, but here, even the action didn't quite live up to expectations in some instances. Sometimes his dancing is just tiresome. ()
