After witnessing the death of her prostitute mother as a young girl, Olivia (Suzanna Love) follows in her footsteps and later takes up the job herself in order to seek revenge. Unhappy at home with her abusive husband and haunted by her mother's death, Olivia takes to the streets of London and begins murdering any punters unlucky enough to cross her path at night. When she falls in love with one of her customers, named Grant (Robert Walker Jr.), Olivia decides to fight the urge to kill him. After being abandoned by Olivia, Grant is astonished to find her working as an estate agent in Arizona four years later. After she claims not to recognise him, Grant begins following her to find out more about this new mystery woman. (88 Films)

Double Jeopardy is an American-German production presented as a horror movie, however, it is more of a psychological drama that plays on the fact that a child suffers a certain trauma in their childhood that they carry and it affects their life. In fact, the movie portrays this aspect very well, and it is obvious there will be tragic consequences. From then, it is just a question of for whom. In Double Jeopardy this narrative works.
