Stairway to Where, A

To emphasize the core of an ethical problem and to reveal a particular negative social phenomenon, Zdeněk Smetana allows a dubious character with far from ethical behaviour to win. A condemnation of consumerism in our society, this is one of his more severe morality shorts. The film was made in co-production with Italy and the music was composed by an Italian jazz musician.
