Ennio Morricone's phenomenal music (credited as Leo Nichols here), elevates this movie to slightly-above-average, as it is otherwise an clumsily written and very forgettable spaghetti western featuring a young Burt Reynolds, who made no secret of the fact that he considered the production of this movie and working with director Sergio Corbucci was the worst experience of his professional career.
