A group of young people, bored with life and each other, decide to explore a haunted house just outside of London. They organize a seance to conjure up a ghost, play hide and seek in the cobwebbed rooms and corridors and generally party it up until on of the teens is hacked to death by someone...or something with a kukiri knife. The British film Horror House has its own charm thanks to the time period and the fact that the filmmakers did not want to go too far. And they didn't. Still, they've managed to make a slasher film that has a pretty workable script and where you'll be waiting to find out who the killer is. Maybe you'll figure it out, maybe you won't, but I don't think the film will offend you in any way.
