A satirical story mocking the breakneck development of automobiles. A man wants to get a beer from a pub that stands just opposite his house, but across a highway. In order to get there, he must take a painstaking drive. In the end, all worked up, he forgets the beer in front of the pub. (Anifilm)

This animated short film is clearly the work of the artist Vladimír Jiránek. Although he was not involved in animated movies for long, everything he touched had quality. The slapstick nature makes fun of the hurried, over-technologized world, where getting to the other side of the street to a pub means starting a car and embarking on a crazy journey through multi-level intersections and liters of burned gasoline. Overall impression: 80%.
