Lars Herdin, supply teacher, regains his lust for life when he realizes that one of his pupils is a math genius. He offers Jonny private lessons for him to be able to start studying at the university. A joyful friendship starts, but Herdin doesn't realize that Jonny's class travel creates new voids.
