This wacky made-for-TV film is the fourth installment in the popular Home Alone series. Mike Weinberg plays the criminal-foiling kid, Kevin McCallister -- the role that made Macaulay Culkin a megastar in the first two films. This time around, Kevin goes head to head against ... French Stewart! This isn't even going to be close! (official distributor synopsis)

English Yes, a fourth film was indeed made, and yes, the characters really have the same names as in the first two movies, pretending to connect to them. It creates absolute nonsense, trying to tell us that those characters are as dull as a log and poorly written. However, it was not John Hughes who wrote it at all. New screenwriters made it like this, creating something that should have never seen the light of day. I'm sorry about what happened to the series because this film doesn't deserve to bear the name "Home Alone" even a bit. The movie doesn't justify the fact that it's a TV piece either. It's a cruel spectacle. ()
