The Transport

The story, which was motivated by the Spanish grippe epidemy in 1918, goes about total helplessness. In a non-identifiable country at the beginning of the century an organisation kidnaps a doctor from his apartment and alongside with several others transports him into a camp. There the prisoners are inoculated. Within a few days both wardens and prisoners fall ill and die. The most vigorous prisoners secretly get the doctor to the city in the neighborhood to bring in medicines. Before he could get back with the drugs, he is captured again and taken to the camp with the others, where everyone is dead by now. New transports are collected and the experiment can go on.
