Dream Brigade

The heroes of the film are manual workers, members of a Socialist Brigade. Oláh Gyula, the brigade leader once has a dream where the gate-keeper searches through Lenin, about to leave the factory. He decides to stage Gelman's play, Premium, with his brigade, since the drama very effectively depicts what they see in the world around. The factory managers, comrade Skoda and Czuczor, cheer at the idea of such self-organised activity of workers, and they hire a one-time actor and stage director, comrade Duba, to rehearse the play. Duba was once upon a dawn taken away by a black limousine, wherefore he has kept a distance ever since, and continues to be careful even with Oláh Gyula's brigade. Meanwhile, a pleasure-loving man turned to stone tries to attract audience attention from the dull story of the Socialist brigade and turn it to more exciting actions or erotic topics. In the end, Oláh Gyula's experiment slowly dies away by itself. (official distributor synopsis)
