English The American production Phantasm IV: Oblivion is really only for diehard fans. This is because there is no point in watching it if you are not familiar with it, and the uninitiated viewer is not going to find it very entertaining. Otherwise, there is enough weirdness to be sure this is still the same franchise. However, it is also boring in places, which is really quite a terrible shame. ()

English After watching this film, the concept of a pig’s breakfast has a new face, the face of Phantasm IV. There is something that could be called a plot, but if anyone can find their bearings in that uncontrolled chaos, they are a genius. Tallman is the only one that’s good (though he looks very old already), I didn’t like Reggie, and Mike got on my nerves. If there is a fifth entry and if it is as contrived and senseless as this one, Coscarelli can go to hell already. ()
