Don Coscarelli is a cool guy, no doubt about that, and I really like him, but I can't help it, something was missing for me. The comedic aspect is good, the dramatic part as well, but together it just didn't work. Each sequence separately is great, but as a whole, you simply feel like someone stitched it poorly together. Well, but Lance Henriksen stood out there brilliantly.
