Plots(1)

Third instalment of the popular teen-slasher series. When talk show host Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber) - the man once wrongly suspected of carrying out the first of the notorious Woodsboro killings - is himself murdered by a masked figure, plenty of free publicity is provided for 'Stab 3 - Return to Woodsboro', the third in a series of films based around the real life events. When two of the film's cast are also murdered production is called to a halt, and the three remaining Woodsboro survivors - recluse Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), television reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and fomer police deputy Dewey Riley (David Arquette) - join forces to find the killer. English The third film came a little later on, but it all fit together quite naturally. First, the book The Woodsboro Murders was written, which was followed by the film series Stab, so the idea of a third installment set on the set of another film sequel is definitely not a bad one. The humor comes from the main characters interacting with their actors. Neve Campbell is not in the main plot at first, but she's very natural as Sydney, so it doesn't matter. Courteney Cox changes her style again, but she's still as adorable... and David Arquette? Of course you can count on him. Kelly Rutherford, Patrick Dempsey, and Carrie Fisher have interesting smaller roles. The new Hollywood setting inspires a deepening of the original 1970s story, which is one of the most interesting new aspects. ()

English Pretty lame compared to the previous episodes. The self-parody doesn't work, Neve Campbell is insanely annoying and the "surprise" at the end really got to me. If next time the killer is an orange walrus played by Marlon Brando, I wouldn't be too surprised. The second star is a nostalgic reminder of the relatively good first film... ()

English With screenwriter Kevin Williamson, the characteristic atmosphere also disappeared. The third Scream is occasionally even annoying in the first half, where the spirit of the mother bores, houses explode, and after so many dramas, the slightly whispered Sidney is still in the middle of everything, even though Gale and Dewey could handle it easily on their own. What can be significantly pleasing is perhaps only Patrick Dempsey or Randy's cassette. But when it seems that we have really received only an unnecessary continuation, the final twenty-minute scene comes, which seriously takes the breath away with its absolute intensity and melodrama. Thanks to it, the third film can belong to the series with its head held high. ()
