As a line producer, Zdeňka Deitchová was in charge of the unique film Bartakiáda. It is unfortunately the only stand-alone film built on the brilliant humour and visual style of cartoonist Miroslav Barták. In a peculiar way, it tells the story of one of Barták’s typical heroes who experiences utterly absurd things on a Friday 13th. (Anifilm)

Miroslav Barták is my favorite creator of "silent" cartoons, but I had no idea that he had also made an animated film. Bartakiada is full of everything that is typical for him. True, more than a story, the film resembles an ordered sequence of Barták's moving drawings, but the sequence is sensational.
