English Such a classic American war film that doesn't really grab me. There are great actors here, with Henry Fonda surprising me as he has aged a lot in this one (I recently saw movies where he was still younger), but Charlton Heston impressed me the most. After all, he had the main role. I almost thought there wouldn't be any battles because the first hour is pretty much about nothing, more focused on relationships, but it eventually worked out. The ending, however, is not so classic and it caught my attention. ()
