Mild-mannered private detective Jack Palmer heads from Paris to Corsica to let a certain Ange Leoni know he's inherited an estate. Everything gets tired over time, including Jean Reno's tough expression and Christian Clavier's confusion. Especially when both appear in a gray attempt to repeat the fresh Operation Corned Beef. On the other hand, thanks to the duo of actors, the case is undemanding and watchable without harm, although very easily forgettable.
