God's Gift to Women

How could I have forgotten this delightful affair? God's Gift to Women is one of the cutest movies I've ever seen. It’s so pleasant, fun, and adorable! Frank Fay’s life is no bed of roses, he has the habits of an old bachelor, and he has to face a whole cohort of fabulous young ladies. Yes, Laura La Plante will win in the end, but after she does a few catwalks, it is definitely possible to succumb to her. It's too bad that Louise Brooks, still stylish in every way, with a great profile, great legs, and perfect walk, i.e., the full package, returned to Hollywood from starring roles in Europe for only a fraction of her former greatness.
