Four years ago a strange meteorite crashed to earth carrying a powerful secret. Now journey to high-tech Larousse City where secrets are revealed as Ash, Pikachu, and the gang meet Tory -- a new friend who is afraid of Pokémon and their trainers. A really interesting element of sci-fi is making its way into Pokémon stories. It's nothing groundbreaking, but the whole universe is expanding even further, plus the film is sometimes conceived as animated kaiju. Granted, the battles could have been a bit more clever, but it's still meant for children and I'm still confident that this can work as intended. Sentimentally sweet.
