János, the agricultural pest-control pilot is suddenly abandoned by his French lover. János chases her with his aeroplane causing a crash and almost killing her and himself. After the hospital treatment he moves back to his old home, where several women wear him down: his mother is preoccupied with her business, his younger sister, Kisági belongs to a religious sect, Márti, his divorced wife is an alcoholic. In the court held concerning his petty offences and the accident János is sentenced to suspended jail term, but he is not allowed to drive aeroplanes any more. He builds a glider, because flying is the only help for him to stay alive. (official distributor synopsis)
