The count Sándor Móricz, nation-wide called the "Devil's Horseman" for his equestrian stunts, rides up the stairs to the "Sándor palace" to meet his dying father. Passing by, he has his horse jump over the coach of princess Metternich Leontine, who from now on cannot forget the legendary horseman. The next time she experiences the braveness of the count is in Italy. He saves her from the hands of outlaws. Love unfolds between them. Metternich tries to upset their marriage, but Leontine finally becomes the wife of the Hungarian count. (official distributor synopsis)
