It is the fruit fair at the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. At this time beautiful Lupe is wooed by an out-of-towner sailor Juancho by native Tehuntepec Ram and by the elderly Don Atanasio. Lupe corresponds to the sailor but he must leave for a period of time. Since Juancho never comes back Lupe accepts Ram promising she’ll marry him. All of the sudden the sailor is back. Ram understand that the young lady is in love with the sailor. Sadly he lets go of her. Lupe and Juancho assist happily to The Zandunga. (official distributor synopsis)
