In Casablanca, Angels Don't Fly

Saïd goes to Casablanca against the wishes of his wife, who keeps sending him emotional letters to try and convince him to come back to her. Casablanca, she says, devours men. Saïd works in a restaurant with Othman and Ismail. Soon, he receives a letter from his wife asking him to attend the delivery of his child. Nothing is going right for the three friends, and their problems take on tragic proportions. À Casablanca les anges ne volent pas (the angels don’t fly), only rapacious predators hover above.
