A cult favorite in its native U.K., WILLO THE WISP enchanted young viewers on its initial broadcast in the 1980s. With CARRY ON star Kenneth Williams lending his inimitable vocal chords to the cartoon characters who inhabit an enchanted forest, the show is funny, sad, and moving. (official distributor synopsis)

English Evil Edna and the weird bunch from the woods during the incredibly sharp 104 minutes of irony will put a slight smile on the faces of fans of English humor and children, who are otherwise so often underestimated by animation creators in general. ()

English The series itself is worth four stars, but the fifth one is easily earned by the dubbing by Olda Kaiser. The evil television Edna has always been one of my idols and will continue to be. The fairy tale also needs to be appreciated because it comes from a time when fairy tales were not only for children, but adults also found something in them (and sometimes much more). If you don't happen to know what it's about (and want to reminisce nostalgically, like I do now), then go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdxIJ3YqkJY ()
