The Desert Trail

The Guy from Rodeo (John Wayne) and a gambler, his friend, find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time and are accused of shooting the cashier. But that's not all. The sheriff in Poker City won't let them catch a break. It's a weaker piece, quite normal for Dukova's work, but I just can't help it, even his normal pieces are still above average. The shootouts are very dry, not even the glass shatters, but for its time, it's actually a classic, non-violent approach. (10/12/2013)
