John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara fit perfectly together here, and it's nice to see how they grumble at each other the whole time, only for them to eventually come together. The ending may be a bit too quick, but her escape through the city makes up for it at least a little. It's sometimes overly grotesque, but it doesn't matter, John Wayne is sitting there.
