Nothing to do with Our Cilla – this Blind Date is an altogether tougher proposition, as you'd expect from exploitation ace Nico Mastorakis. After losing his sight, Ad Exec Jon Ratcliff (Joseph Bottoms) is fitted with an experimental device that partially returns his vision. Only... Although he can't 'see' very much, one night he catches a glimpse of a notorious killer. Is it enough to find the psycho? And can he do it before the murderer catches up with him? One of Mastorakis' best (and bloodiest) films, the cast includes Kirsty Alley, Marina Sirtis and Keir Dullea. (88 Films)

English The British-Greek movie Blind Date is a nice example of non-Italian Giallo. Unsurprisingly, it works very well, and it makes sense because there is suspense, and it manages to keep your attention until the end. Sure, the movie is not really surprising, the murders are not so brilliantly executed, but it more than makes up for both with purposeful nudity, where there is not much to fault. Overall, I would say that this movie is quite a decent watch. ()
