English Not a very entertaining film. There is not much action, and it’s not dazzling, the acting is weak (only Chris Evans has some charm) and the senseless seriousness of the characters, doesn't work in the film at all, because the you can’t relate to them. It's not completely bad, but it falls well short of Bryan Singer's rival team-up. ()

English Tim Story didn't hit the mark with this fantastic icon on his second attempt at making an outstanding film, but he did manage to create an entertaining bite-sized treat. He surpassed the shadow of tiresome family conflicts and hesitant acting performances and brought refreshing action, effects, the Surfer, and the ultimate Human Torch. And I simply can't refuse a family-friendly comic book adaptation. Nevertheless, it is clear that the X-Men team will always be in a completely different league. 70% ()

English Slightly better than part one, but I’m afraid that if Story is going to sit any longer on the director’s chair it won’t go any better. F4 has all the potential of a good comic book adaptation. The casting of the main heroes is fairly good (although Jessica Alba isn’t really right) and the theme has potential. This way, it’s only saved by the great duo of Johnny Strom (Chris Evans is cool :-) and The Thing. The Surfer is fine. Not every day you meet a nice guy like that (no surprise with the voice of Laurence Fishburne). So I sort of hope that he hasn’t spoiled it completely for everybody, because with a different director and higher quality special effects we could be treated to a much better result. ()

English Horrible plot and basically unwatchable. Jessica Alba is also unwatchable with her flashy blue contact lenses, which apparently are supposed to match her sexy uniform. So, we are left with decent visual effects (for 130 million), a few cool shots of the city, and a few decent jokes. Good thing there is some chemistry among this group, otherwise, it would be almost trash. Very simple and stupid. ()

English This is simply a classic comic book movie in the negative sense. Every now and then there is a joke, boring characters that are trying to impose themselves on you, and a supposedly epic plot that is actually very simple. Don't expect anything and you will get exactly this. It's a Hollywood spectacle that tries to impress, but it doesn't really have much to offer. ()
