Who better to bring the grand-scale King Kong myth to the screen once again than the director responsible for creating the vast and magical world of the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy? In this behind-the-scenes documentary, Peter Jackson invites viewers inside the production process for his epic undertaking, 2005's KING KONG. Set in the 1930s, the film took over six months to shoot, involving many elaborate sets and exotic locales. Luckily for fans, Jackson and members of the all-star cast (Naomi Watts, Adrien Brody, and Jack Black among others) documented their experiences of filming the movie through 54 individual video diaries that were shot at various points during production, offering viewers an inside peek at how the epic tale evolved from scratch through completion. English One of the best and most informative films about a film that I’ve ever had the pleasure to see in my life. The last time I enjoyed something like this was in the extensive bonus features on the extended versions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. At Budget Books for 39 crowns, there's no reason to hesitate, you can hardly make a better and more valuable 2-DVD "bargain" for a movie fan. ()
