Peaceful Warrior

A film for smart and aware people. Nick Nolte’s portrayal of life is exceptional. They managed to free psychology and philosophy from excessive pathos, excessive complexity, and incomprehensibility, and above all, nonsense and unbelievability. The wisdom this time has depth, meaning, effectiveness, and above all, it's all true. For those who see it as a film about sports and determination, replace your brain or wait a few more years before mentally maturing and gaining life experience before rating it. (29/12/2012)

I can't help but feel that this film doesn't stand out in its genre in any way. Sure, it's interesting that it's about gymnastics, but it's still the same story of an athlete who doesn't give up. I'm not saying they're not strong stories, but without Nick Nolte, who handled his role excellently, I wouldn't enjoy watching the film. (31/05/2017)
