Kenai (voiced by Patrick Dempsey) is back, the human transformed into a brown bear, and he is off to the picturesque Pacific Northwest at the end of the Ice Age. During his adventures, he remains haunted by dreams of his previous life. As a human child, he befriended Nita (Mandy Moore), the daughter of a tribal elder. I can't help but feel like this was a simplified version of Shrek. There is an incompatible couple who gradually find their way to each other. The connection to the first film is essentially only in the characters, and Disney proves that sequels from this studio are films that should go straight to video rather than to movie theaters.
