English I loved Eddie Murphy when I was a child, but I cannot understand what happened with him throughout the time. To be honest, I’ve avoided Norbit for a long time. In the end I forced myself to watch it on TV and it was exactly what I thought it to be. Eddie smugly made a movie in which he played most of the roles. Maybe to outdo the Nutty Professor, where the first instalment was still pretty good. Here and there it was funny, but mostly it was just really embarrassing. The one star is for the costumes. At times I could not recognize Eddie at all. Especially not as the ugly fat lady. ()

English I have to admit I didn't recognize Eddie, so bravo to the mask! And I have one more thing to confess... I was rolling in laughter the whole time. We all have different senses of humor, don't we? 3.5 stars. ()

English I definitely do not claim that Norbit is the dumbest and most tasteless film of all time, however, in the competition for such a primacy, it would not fare poorly at all... This rudeness is not worth a dumber commentary, I just note that participating in such failures froze Eddie Murphy's promising acting career. Overall impression is zero... ()

English I have to admit that after all those bad reviews and negative opinions I've ever read, I was expecting a much worse movie. I'm not saying that it's a great success, it's still a bad movie, just not as bad as I thought. Norbit is actually quite an interesting character. The fact that Eddie Murphy indulges in silly humor is simply his thing. I didn't laugh, but it still caught my attention enough to finish it. Maybe it's also because the story is terribly cliché, but at least you know what you're getting. ()
