An assistant coach and onetime college star, whose headstrong personal style has threatened his rise to head coach, spots a teenage basketball sensation on a videotape sent back from one of the college's religious missions in Africa. A pleasant sports comedy, in which all you have to do is have your brain in the slow regime and experience all the familiar schemes of the genre, a few good jokes, an exotic environment, and sympathetic characters. The Czech translation leaves something to be desired, as there is not a single virgin forest in the whole film and I doubt that the coconut industry is rampant in Kenya... Although I don't like basketball as a sport, I quite enjoy in this trip version. If I set aside the necessary deep-seated speech and the excessive ending, I actually quite enjoyed it.
