Thrilling action, terrifying creatures and spellbinding special effects. Unexplained anomalies are ripping holes in the fabric of time, allowing creatures from the past, and the future, to roam the modern world. Not knowing where the next anomaly will appear and what on earth will come out of it, the government grudgingly turns to evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter and his team of experts in ARC - Anomaly Research Centre. As the ARC team fight to save Earth from rampaging dinosaurs and deadly future predators, their work creates its own enemies, those eager to sabotage the project or harness the power of the anomalies. This is a B-movie in terms of content and budget, but also decently made, with appropriate pacing, without glaring mistakes, and it is overall easily digestible. It's a naive sci-fi supplemented with certain elements in the style of The X-Files. Overall impression: 50%. The special effects that appear in the series in abundance are, due to the limited budget, acceptable, but certainly won't impress spoiled viewers.
