Shikamaru unravels the secret of Hidan’s jutsu just in time, and Asuma attacks with all his being. However, even after his head is severed, Hidan continues to live. The Hidden Leaf, aghast at the sight of this undead man, are challenged by the other Akatsuki who has stood by in silence, Kakuzu.
