Alyssa (Marina Resa) happily accepts a housekeeping job for an Asian woman and her aunt in the middle of nowhere in an effort to escape her psychotic ex-boyfriend. She discovers that the pair follows the Chinese custom of "ghost month," where they must appease the spirits of the dead.
